The Backbone Bluegrass Committee consists of approximately 40 people from as far away as Minnesota and as close as Strawberry Point, Iowa. New Members are always welcome. About the only qualification you need is that you love bluegrass music and people. This is a very democratic committee. All decisions are discussed and voted on by the committee as a whole. The heavy lifting starts about two weeks before the festival as we all meet at the grounds and clean up and get ready for the festival. We are big on jamming', potlucks, camping, visiting and just old fashion fun.
